- 1–1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
- 10.5 ounce can cream of condensed mushroom soup
- 10.5 ounce can cream of cheddar cheese soup
- 3 cups cubed frozen potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain off the fat, and transfer the meat to a large bowl.
- Stir in both the cream of mushroom and cream of cheddar cheese soups.
- Add the frozen cubed potatoes along with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper, then mix everything until combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9 inch by 13 inch casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Cover the dish with foil.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then carefully remove the foil and continue baking uncovered for another 30 minutes.
