- 1 pound asparagus ends trimmed*
- 1 tablespoon oil olive or avocado
- 1 clove garlic finely minced optional
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F and let it warm up for at least 3 minutes.
- Combine the oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl, then toss the trimmed asparagus spears to coat them evenly.
- Spread the asparagus in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and cook for 6 to 9 minutes, shaking or tossing halfway through depending on spear size.
- Once cooked, season with extra salt and pepper if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Trim asparagus by cutting at the point where the white or brown end turns green, or snap off the woody end by bending the spear gently until it breaks
- Cooking times vary with spear thickness and air fryer size
