- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or to taste
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth and combined.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F 200°C and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Coat the Salmon: Brush each fillet with olive oil and then place them in the air fryer basket.
- Air Fry: Cook the salmon for 10-12 minutes. Cook until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has an internal temperature of 145°F 63°C.
- Add Sauce: In the last minute of cooking, brush a generous amount of the Bang Bang sauce over the salmon fillets for extra flavor.
- Rest the Salmon: Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish: Drizzle with additional Bang Bang sauce and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
