Description

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower – cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Chop the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces making sure they’re similar in size for consistent cooking.
  2. Whisk together flour water and the seasonings until you get a smooth batter that can coat the cauliflower easily.
  3. Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter making sure each one is fully covered then shake off excess.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and spray the basket lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the coated cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 to 15 minutes shaking the basket once halfway to ensure even crisping.
  6. Combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl while the cauliflower cooks.
  7. Toss the cooked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce mixture so each piece is well coated.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dip like ranch or blue cheese along with celery sticks if desired.
