- 1 medium head of cauliflower – cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Chop the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces making sure they’re similar in size for consistent cooking.
- Whisk together flour water and the seasonings until you get a smooth batter that can coat the cauliflower easily.
- Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter making sure each one is fully covered then shake off excess.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and spray the basket lightly with cooking spray.
- Arrange the coated cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 to 15 minutes shaking the basket once halfway to ensure even crisping.
- Combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl while the cauliflower cooks.
- Toss the cooked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce mixture so each piece is well coated.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dip like ranch or blue cheese along with celery sticks if desired.
