- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt I use Morton table salt for this because itβs fine and better for coating
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts β if you have closer to 1.5 pounds in your package increase the amount of spices above by 1.5x to make sure you have enough seasoning for your chicken
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts into thin flat pieces roughly 3 to 4 cuts per breast and pat them dry if they are wet.
- Mix all the spices in a bowl and sprinkle them over the chicken pieces, then add the avocado oil and toss well until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer and arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer with space for air circulation.
- Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 415 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or up to 13 minutes if the pieces are larger, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- Let the chicken rest shortly before slicing and serve immediately for the best juicy and crispy results.

- Salt Depends on The Amount of Chicken: Use 3/4 teaspoon table salt for 1 pound chicken breasts or 1 teaspoon for 1

- For coarse kosher salt, use 1 teaspoon per pound
- You can marinate the chicken with spices up to 24 hours in the fridge but add cornstarch just before air frying
