- Chicken Breasts 2 large boneless and skinless
- Breadcrumbs 1 cup preferably Italian seasoned
- Parmesan Cheese 1/2 cup grated
- Marinara Sauce 1 cup
- Mozzarella Cheese 1 cup shredded
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Italian Seasoning 1 teaspoon
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set your air fryer to 380°F and let it preheat.
- Even out the thickness of each chicken breast to about 1/2 inch by pounding gently.
- Create two stations; mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one bowl, and drizzle olive oil over the chicken in another.
- Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture so it sticks well.
- Place the coated chicken in a single layer inside the air fryer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Take the chicken out, spoon the marinara sauce onto each piece, and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
- Put the chicken back in the air fryer for another 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles.
- Let the chicken rest a few minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
