This air fryer chicken wings crispy recipe is perfect for a simple family dinner or an easy dinner on busy weeknights. These juicy wings become perfectly crispy using your air fryer, ideal for a delicious weeknight meal.

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika regular or smoked
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp chipotle powder can substitute with chili powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Set the air fryer to 400°F to preheat.
- Thoroughly dry the chicken wings with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, chipotle powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pour olive oil over the wings and toss to evenly coat.
- Sprinkle half the seasoning mix on the wings and massage it in.
- Add the remaining seasoning and mix again to cover completely.
- If you want, place parchment paper in the air fryer basket before adding wings; it’s optional.
- Arrange wings in a single layer with skin side down, leaving space for air flow, and air fry for 8 minutes.
- Turn wings over and cook for another 8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Keep cooked wings warm on a baking sheet in a 250°F oven while cooking remaining batches.
- Serve the wings hot with your preferred dipping sauces and fresh veggies.
