Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 pieces hamburger buns
- as desired toppings (lettuce or tomato or onion or cheese or etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined but do not overwork the mixture.
- Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making sure to create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook the burgers in the air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- If you are adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the buns in the air fryer if desired, for about 2-3 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the buns and adding your favorite toppings.
