Air Fryer Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs are a quick and flavorful option for an easy dinner. This weeknight meal delivers juicy, crispy chicken with a zesty lemon garlic taste perfect for family dinners. Simple and delicious, ideal for busy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs bone in skin on
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Parsley and lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Use a paper towel to thoroughly dry the chicken thighs.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, cracked pepper, and onion powder.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs well with the mixture either by brushing or tossing them in a large bowl with the seasoning.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray and lay the chicken thighs in a single layer.
  5. Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, turning them over halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Check for doneness with a thermometer ensuring it reads 165 degrees.
  7. Garnish with parsley and squeeze some fresh lemon juice on top before serving.

Notes

  • Be sure to flip the chicken halfway through to keep the skin from burning
  • If the skin starts to brown too much, flip it again near the end to prevent burning
  • You can cook immediately after seasoning or refrigerate for up to 12 hours to deepen the flavor
