- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs raw approx 350g or 12.5oz
- salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoon of honey
- 3 tablespoons of fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 2 green onions spring onions finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
- olive oil spray
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and black pepper evenly on all sides.
- In a bowl, mix honey, fresh orange juice, Dijon mustard, and chopped garlic thoroughly.
- You can marinate the chicken in this mixture beforehand for best results, or cook immediately if short on time.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit for two minutes.
- Place the chicken pieces in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and spray with olive oil on top.
- Cook the chicken for eight minutes, then brush with some marinade sauce and continue cooking for another seven to eight minutes until the chicken edges turn golden and the meat is fully cooked.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with your preferred side dishes.
