- 1 egg fresh or cold or room temperature
- 2 tbsp water per ramekin
- cooking spray or oil to grease ramekin
- salt & pepper to taste for serving
- everything bagel seasoning optional
- chili flakes optional
- chopped parsley or chives optional garnish
Instructions
- Lightly grease a ramekin with oil spray or brush with oil.
- Add 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of water to the ramekin.
- Crack one egg into the ramekin Do not stir.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F 175°C for 3 minutes.
- Carefully place the ramekin into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes depending on desired yolk doneness 6 min equals runny yolk 7 min equals slightly set yolk 8 min equals jammy yolk.
- Use tongs to carefully remove the hot ramekin.
- Gently scoop out the egg with a spoon Drain excess water and serve with salt pepper or optional toppings.
Notes
- Store cooled eggs in the fridge in an airtight container with a damp paper towel for up to 3 days
- Reheat in warm water for 30 to 60 seconds
