- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350F and apply nonstick spray on a 9×13 baking dish or sheet pan.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl, mix well and keep it aside.
- Cook ground beef, onions, salt, and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until beef is brown and onions are tender, then remove from heat and drain.
- Arrange bottom halves of slider buns in the baking dish and spread sauce over them thinly.
- Add cooked beef mixture onto the buns, then cover evenly with slices of American cheese.
- Place pickle slices over the cheese ensuring each slider receives some.
- Bake the sliders for 8-10 minutes, then take them out to add shredded lettuce and more sauce.
- Put the top buns on and brush melted butter on them, then sprinkle sesame seeds over the tops.
- Cover with foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese melts.
- Remove the sliders from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
- If using different slider buns or dinner rolls, form small burger patties and bake them separately
- Some prefer warm shredded lettuce, which can be added during baking with cheese and pickles
- For cold lettuce and sauce lovers, warm top buns separately with butter and sesame seeds before assembly
- Thousand island dressing can replace copycat big mac sauce if preferred
- Mini cooked hamburger patties and grilled onions can be used instead of the ground beef mixture
