  • 5 Raw Bratwurst Links 19 oz or 540g
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil Spray
  • 5 Brioche Hoagie Rolls
  • 2 tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
  • 0.5 cup Sauerkraut drained
  • 0.5 cup Caramelized Onions

Instructions

  1. Heat the air fryer to 400°F or 200°C and let it warm up for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the bratwurst links dry with a paper towel to remove moisture.
  3. Spray each link lightly with olive oil for even browning.
  4. Lay the sausages flat in the air fryer basket without overlapping to allow air circulation.
  5. Cook the brats for 8 minutes then turn them over with tongs.
  6. Continue cooking for an additional 7 minutes until the skins turn dark golden and taut.
  7. Check that the internal temperature has reached 160°F or 71°C.
  8. Let the brats rest on a plate for 3 minutes to redistribute juices.
  9. Spread mustard on the brioche rolls, add the cooked brats, and top with sauerkraut and caramelized onions.
