- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound smoked sausage kielbasa sliced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 4 cups green cabbage shredded
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ cup chicken broth low sodium
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Prepare the egg noodles as per the package instructions then drain and keep aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the sausage slices for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side then remove them from the pan.
- Sauté onion and cabbage in the same skillet for 5 minutes until tender.
- Add garlic, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika and stir thoroughly.
- Pour in chicken broth and apple cider vinegar, cover the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring a few times.
- Return the cooked sausage and the drained noodles to the skillet, combine everything well, and cook for 2 more minutes before serving warm.
