Description

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound smoked sausage kielbasa sliced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 4 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the egg noodles as per the package instructions then drain and keep aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the sausage slices for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side then remove them from the pan.
  3. Sauté onion and cabbage in the same skillet for 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Add garlic, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika and stir thoroughly.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and apple cider vinegar, cover the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring a few times.
  6. Return the cooked sausage and the drained noodles to the skillet, combine everything well, and cook for 2 more minutes before serving warm.
