Description

A delicious soft and cheesy biscuit bread perfect for any occasion, made with shredded cheddar cheese and a flavorful garlic herb topping for irresistible taste.


Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour
  • white granulated sugar
  • baking powder
  • table salt
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • egg
  • milk
  • butter
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk egg and milk together.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in melted butter.
  7. Drop biscuit dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. While baking, melt additional butter and mix with garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley flakes.
  10. Brush topping onto hot biscuits immediately after baking.
