Description

This Cheesy Garlic Bread Shrimp Grilled Cheese is a perfect comfort food sandwich. Enjoy a gourmet grilled cheese featuring savory garlic butter shrimp and melted cheese. Ideal for a quick garlic bread sandwich or a family friendly sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of your favorite bread
  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 pound of shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix softened butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
  2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add shrimp lemon juice salt and pepper to skillet and cook until shrimp are pink and opaque about 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  6. Place bread garlic butter side down on skillet.
  7. Add mozzarella cheese shrimp and Parmesan cheese on bread.
  8. Top with another slice of bread garlic butter side up.
  9. Cook until bottom slice is golden and crispy about 3 to 4 minutes.
  10. Flip sandwich and cook other side until golden and cheese is melted about 3 to 4 minutes.
  11. Remove sandwich let rest a minute before slicing.
  12. Repeat for remaining sandwiches.
  13. Sprinkle dried parsley over sandwiches for color and flavor.
