Description

This Cheesy Ranch Potatoes recipe combines smoked sausage with creamy ranch seasoning and tender baby potatoes for a comforting and easy dinner option. Perfect for family meals or casual gatherings.

  • 1 pound smoked sausage (halal-certified no pork)
  • 4 cups baby potatoes halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix make sure it’s halal-certified
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or a mix of your favorite cheeses
  • 1/2 cup sour cream optional for serving
  • Fresh parsley chopped optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25 minutes until tender.
  4. While potatoes roast, slice the smoked sausage into bite-size pieces.
  5. Remove the potatoes from the oven and add the smoked sausage pieces on top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sausage and potatoes.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
