Description

This Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is an easy dinner perfect for busy weeknights. It combines tender chicken and savory stuffing into a simple casserole ideal for family dinners and comfort food moments.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 ounces stove-top stuffing mix
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 350°F or 175°C and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the broth and butter until the butter has melted, then stir in the stuffing mix and cover it to set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken and frozen vegetables evenly into the soup mixture.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the casserole dish.
  6. Cover the top with the prepared stuffing mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the top turns golden and the casserole is hot throughout.
  8. Let cool briefly before serving and enjoying.
