- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 6 ounces stove-top stuffing mix
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 350°F or 175°C and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the broth and butter until the butter has melted, then stir in the stuffing mix and cover it to set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken and frozen vegetables evenly into the soup mixture.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the casserole dish.
- Cover the top with the prepared stuffing mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the top turns golden and the casserole is hot throughout.
- Let cool briefly before serving and enjoying.
