Description

A creamy and comforting chicken bacon ranch pasta that’s perfect for a hearty meal. Rich flavors with tender chicken and crispy bacon make it a family favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 strips bacon
  • Salt Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta Rotini recommended
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy then chop and set aside.
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder and Italian seasoning then cook in the skillet until fully cooked.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter then add garlic and flour to make a roux.
  5. Gradually whisk in half and half and ranch seasoning then simmer until thickened.
  6. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Add cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the sauce and mix well.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, garnish with chopped green onions or parsley
  • You can substitute Rotini with penne or fusilli pasta
