Description

Chicken Kofta Garlic Yogurt Sauce is a tasty and easy dish featuring spiced chicken koftas paired with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce. This recipe is perfect for a flavorful Middle Eastern dinner that you can prepare quickly.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground chicken
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ground chicken with chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl and mix until evenly blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into small oval koftas.
  3. Heat the grill and lightly oil it with olive oil.
  4. Grill the koftas for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt with lemon juice and a pinch of salt to create the garlic yogurt sauce.
  6. Serve the grilled koftas alongside the garlic yogurt sauce.
