- Ground Chicken 500 grams about 1 pound
- Onion 1 medium finely chopped
- Garlic 3 cloves minced
- Fresh Parsley 1/4 cup finely chopped
- Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
- Ground Coriander 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
- Black Pepper 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
- Plain Yogurt 1 cup
- Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons for grilling
Instructions
- In a big bowl, put together ground chicken with chopped onion, minced garlic, and parsley.
- Add cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper, then mix evenly.
- Moisten your hands and form the mix into oval-shaped koftas.
- Heat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and apply olive oil.
- Cook the koftas on each side for 5 to 7 minutes until they are nicely browned and fully cooked.
- Blend yogurt with lemon juice and a little salt in a small bowl to prepare the garlic yogurt sauce.
- Serve the koftas alongside the creamy garlic yogurt sauce and your favorite sides.
