Description

Buttery crescent rolls filled with creamy seasoned shredded chicken and cheddar cheese baked to golden perfection. This recipe is perfect for dinner or party appetizers like Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls and Baked Chicken Crescents.


Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough 8 rolls
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F or 190°C.
  2. In a large bowl mix shredded chicken cheddar cheese mayonnaise green onions garlic powder and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll each crescent from the wide end to the point tucking edges slightly to seal the filling.
  6. Place rolls on the baking sheet and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and top with fresh parsley if desired. Cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

  • Use rotisserie chicken for maximum flavor and moisture
  • Brush tops with butter or egg wash for better browning
