Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz Broccoli Florets
- 1 Tablespoon Avocado or Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 pound Chicken Breast cut into bite size pieces
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Oil
- 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons 30g Chili Garlic Sauce plus 1 Tablespoon 21g Honey for glazing
Instructions
- Drizzle the broccoli with oil and then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder before setting it aside.
- Coat the chicken pieces in chili oil and season them evenly with ground ginger, mixing well.
- If your air fryer has separate racks, place the broccoli on one and chicken on the top rack and air fry at 400ºF for 4 to 5 minutes until chicken reaches 150ºF to 160ºF.
- Brush the chicken with the chili garlic sauce and honey mixture, then continue to air fry at 400ºF for another 2 minutes to caramelize the glaze and fully cook the chicken to 165ºF.
- For a single basket air fryer, cook the broccoli alone at 400ºF for 5 to 6 minutes, remove and set aside, then cook the chicken separately.
- Reheat or toss the broccoli with the chicken if desired, garnish with toasted sesame seeds, and serve with rice or cauliflower rice alongside extra sauce and honey if preferred.
