Description

Cinnamon Apple Cottage Cheese Bites are warm, protein-rich snacks perfect for busy mornings or healthy cravings. These cinnamon apple cottage cheese bites and cottage cheese oat bites offer a tasty and wholesome treat everyone can enjoy.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup applesauce or 1 small grated apple
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional for added sweetness
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F 175°C and prepare a mini muffin pan by greasing it or lining it with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix cottage cheese, oats, applesauce or grated apple, egg, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes to allow the oats to soak up moisture.
  4. Evenly spoon the batter into the muffin pan cups, filling nearly to the top.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the bites are firm and lightly browned.
  6. Cool the bites in the pan briefly before transferring to a wire rack to cool fully.
  7. Serve warm or refrigerate for up to four days.
