- 8 slices of bacon
- 12 slices good quality white bread
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 6 oz deli sliced turkey
- 1–2 tomatoes sliced
- Lettuce
- 6 oz deli sliced ham
Instructions
- Fry the bacon until it is crisp and then drain on paper towels.
- Toast all slices of bread thoroughly.
- Arrange the toasted bread on your workspace and spread just under 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on each slice.
- On the first slice in each row, place one slice of cheddar, followed by a quarter of the turkey and tomato slices. Cover with the middle bread slice, mayonnaise side down, and spread mayonnaise on the top exposed side.
- Add the bacon, lettuce, and ham on top of the middle bread slice. Finish by placing the last bread slice on top with mayonnaise side down.
- Secure sandwiches with toothpicks if desired and cut them in halves or quarters before serving.
