- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1⁄2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1⁄4 cup green onions chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Set your oven to 400°F and let it heat.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp, about 5 to 7 minutes, then transfer to paper towels to drain and crumble once cooled.
- Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet on medium-high and sear chicken for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Lower heat to medium and spread barbecue sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top.
