Instructions
- Heat a large pot of salted water to boiling and cook the cheese tortellini according to the package directions until just tender then drain and set aside.
- Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat then season the steak with salt black pepper garlic powder and smoked paprika. Sear the steak for 3 to 5 minutes until nicely browned then remove it from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet melt the butter then add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until it becomes fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk stirring well then let the sauce simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Slowly whisk in the parmesan cheese until it melts completely and the sauce is smooth then adjust seasoning if needed.
- Return the cooked steak and tortellini to the skillet and gently toss everything together for 2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley cracked black pepper and red pepper flakes if you like then serve immediately.
