- 8 ounces (1/2 box) of pasta shells
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 cup diced onion (1/2 an onion) – In a hurry? Frozen diced onion from the grocery store is perfect
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cans tomato soup (the good old Campbell’s tomato soup!)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to the directions on the box.
- Cook the ground beef and drain.
- Sauté the onions until translucent.
- Add garlic and Italian seasoning and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the soup and water, stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add the drained ground beef, cream, and noodles and cook over medium heat.
- Add the cheeses and stir until thoroughly heated through.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
