- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- Prepare egg noodles as instructed on the package until just tender, then drain and set aside.
- Warm butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add diced onion, minced garlic, and mixed vegetables. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper, cooking until onions soften, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well to combine. Slowly pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy, about 5 minutes.
- Return the cooked noodles and shredded chicken to the skillet, mixing thoroughly to coat everything in the sauce. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper as needed.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving to add color and fresh taste.
