Description
Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs deliver a flavorful and easy dinner perfect for weeknight meals. This one pan chicken recipe is ideal for family dinner and can be ready in just 30 minutes with minimal prep.

- 6 bone-in & skin-on chicken thighs excess skin removed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10–12 cloves of garlic
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup nonpareil capers
Instructions
- Dry the chicken well then combine with 2 tablespoons olive oil lemon pepper seasoning garlic powder and dried parsley. Massage the mixture into the chicken and refrigerate covered for at least one hour.
- Heat butter and remaining olive oil in a skillet on medium. Brown the chicken skin-side down in batches without moving until golden around 3-4 minutes then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes before removing.
- Cook garlic cloves in the same skillet stirring constantly until golden and softened about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth scraping the pan bottom with a wooden spoon then simmer 1-2 minutes. Add heavy cream and lemon juice stirring well and bring to a gentle boil. Stir in capers.
- Return chicken to the pan spoon sauce over each piece reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
