  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 12 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 5 chicken cutlets see note 1

  • ground black pepper to taste
  • oil for frying
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup panko crumbs
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 romaine hearts chopped
  • 12 French baguettes
  • Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Caesar dressing by mixing mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, garlic, black pepper, and sea salt in a bowl.
  2. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the flour mixture by combining flour, salt, and smoked paprika.
  4. Beat eggs with salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Mix panko crumbs, breadcrumbs, parsley, black pepper, sea salt, oregano, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese for the breadcrumb coating.
  6. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and cooked through.
  8. Toast the French baguettes.
  9. Assemble sandwiches by spreading Caesar dressing on baguettes, layering chopped romaine and fried chicken cutlets, then topping with additional Parmesan cheese.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy.
