  • 600g Sweet potato
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/21 tsp Flaked sea salt (add to taste)
  • 1 tsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Boil the sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain and place on a baking sheet. Gently smash each potato with a fork or the bottom of a glass until slightly flattened.
  4. In a bowl, mix olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, Sriracha, black pepper, sea salt, and honey.
  5. Brush or toss the smashed potatoes in the mixture ensuring an even coating.
  6. Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 30-40 minutes or until crispy and golden, shaking halfway through.
  8. Serve warm as a snack or side dish.
