Description
Air Fryer Potato Slices are a quick and healthy appetizer or side dish that are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Enjoy Crispy Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes as a delicious snack or dinner addition made in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and slice them ¼ inch thick.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for 15-30 minutes then drain and dry.
- Toss dried slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Place half the slices in air fryer basket and air fry at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes shaking every 5 minutes.
- Remove cooked slices and keep warm, then air fry remaining slices.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- ¼-inch thick potato slices take about 12-15 minutes to air fry the slices
- If your slices are thicker, go with 15-18 minutes
- Anything thinner than ¼ inch thick will take 10-12 minutes or less
- A large basket style air fryer (7-quart or larger) will work best
- Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes are the best potato type for this recipe
- Don’t skip soaking the potatoes in water before air frying if you want crispy slices
