Description

This Ground Beef and Cabbage is a simple and satisfying dish perfect for a low carb ground beef cabbage recipe. Its easy preparation and rich flavors make it a great ground beef cabbage skillet meal for any day.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 onion halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound lean ground beef

Instructions

  1. Combine cabbage, tomatoes with juice, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large pot over low heat and cook until the mixture starts to simmer.
  2. Add the lean ground beef on top of the cabbage mixture, cover the pot, and cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully cooked and the cabbage is tender.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy your meal.

  • Do not cook and drain your meat
  • most of the taste will leave
  • I use 90/10 ground beef for this recipe
  • This beef and cabbage dish is delicious served with corn on the cob and cornbread
