- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 green onions sliced for garnish
- 1 cup cooked noodles like rice noodles or ramen (optional)
Instructions
- Warm the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Brown the ground pork or turkey by breaking it up with a spoon, cooking for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add diced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger, and cook until the onion is translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix in the coleslaw mix and let it wilt for approximately 5 minutes.
- Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper in a small bowl, then stir this into the soup well.
- Continue simmering for another 5 to 10 minutes for flavors to combine.
- If using, add cooked noodles just before serving to heat through.
- Serve hot garnished with sliced green onions.
