- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce shredded
- 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup banana peppers sliced
- 3 sub rolls
- 1/4 pound salami
- 1/4 pound pepperoni
- 1/4 pound turkey
- 1/4 pound provolone cheese
- 1 tomato sliced
Instructions
- Combine mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Add shredded lettuce, sliced red onions, and banana peppers to the mixture and stir until evenly incorporated.
- Layer salami, pepperoni, turkey, and provolone cheese inside each sub roll to assemble the sandwiches.
- Turn on the oven broiler and place sandwiches on a baking sheet, broil for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
- Remove the sandwiches from the oven and topped them with tomato slices, then spread the grinder salad generously on top.
- Close each sandwich carefully and cut in half if preferred before serving.
