- 1/4 cup brown sugar plus 2 tbsp more

- 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
- 6–7 wooden skewers soaked in water
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add chicken pieces to marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
