Description

A deliciously crispy parmesan crusted chicken recipe inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse, perfect for a satisfying dinner. Easy to prepare with simple ingredients and bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl combine bread crumbs Parmesan cheese mozzarella cheese Italian seasoning salt and pepper.
  3. In another bowl whisk flour eggs and milk.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first in flour mixture then into egg mixture then coat with bread crumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown about 3 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer chicken to baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness use panko bread crumbs
  • Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad
