Instructions

- Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the pot and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant, then mix in the diced bell pepper if using.
- Pour in the orzo, chicken broth, and heavy cream, then bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Lower the heat to a simmer, cover the pot, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the orzo is tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pot and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until everything is creamy and well combined.
