- Black pepper

- 8 cups low-sodium broth
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 1 tsp fresh parsley
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon till crisp then set aside.
- Sauté onion carrot and celery in bacon fat.
- Add potatoes and seasonings.
- Add broth and simmer till potatoes soften.
