Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts and broth in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and any extra seasonings you want.
- Cover and cook on the Low setting for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily with forks.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker onto a board or pan.
- Shred the chicken using two forks or a shredding tool.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the remaining juices.
- Let the chicken cool before storing it in an airtight container or bag in the fridge for up to 4 days or the freezer for up to 3 months.
