- 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 large egg
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- Optional powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar
- 30 chocolate Hershey’s Kisses unwrapped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix with melted butter and egg until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in softened cream cheese until the dough becomes thick and evenly combined.
- Cover the dough and chill it in the fridge for at least one hour.
- Set your oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Shape the dough into tablespoon-sized balls.
- If desired, roll the dough balls in powdered sugar or pink sugar, or leave them plain, then arrange them on the baking sheets.
- Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are firm but the centers remain soft.
- Let the cookies cool for 1 to 2 minutes before pressing a chocolate kiss gently into the center of each.
- Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and allow them to cool completely.
