- 1 bunch methi / fenugreek leaf
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ¼ tsp ajwain
- 2 tbsp sesame
- 1 tsp chilli paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp kasuri methi
- pinch hing
- ½ cup curd
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cup wheat flour
- ¼ cup besan
- water for kneading
- oil for roasting
Instructions
- Clean and finely chop the methi leaves.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped methi with turmeric, chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, ajwain, sesame seeds, chilli paste, ginger paste, kasuri methi, hing, curd, and salt. Mix well.
- Add wheat flour and besan to the mixture.
- Knead the dough with water to form a soft and pliable dough.
- Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a thin circle.
- Heat a tawa or griddle, place the rolled dough and roast on both sides with a little oil until golden and cooked through.
- Serve hot with yogurt or pickles.
