- 1 chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 tomato roma or campari sliced
- 2 Tablespoons shredded mozzarella
- 4 teaspoons shredded mozzarella
- fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Dry the chicken breast and slice it in half to create two thinner pieces for faster cooking.
- Brush olive oil over both chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer and layer 1 Tablespoon shredded mozzarella on each piece.
- Arrange tomato slices over the cheese, then sprinkle another 2 teaspoons mozzarella on top.
- Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

- All air fryers cook differently and cooking times may differ based on the thickness of your chicken breast
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F
- For less cooked cheese and tomatoes, air fry the chicken for 5 minutes first, then add the cheese and tomato slices and continue cooking
