These Air Fryer Chicken Meatballs High Protein are crispy outside and juicy inside, perfect for an easy dinner or weeknight family dinner. Packed with flavor and high protein, they make a satisfying high protein chicken dinner everyone loves.

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp parsley dried or 2 tbsp fresh
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, olive oil, and parsley in a large bowl and mix well.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about a heaping tablespoon each, placing them on a parchment lined sheet.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F and prepare the basket by lining it with foil or applying cooking spray.
- Arrange the meatballs in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through, until browned and internal temperature reaches 165F.
- Remove cooked meatballs and repeat with remaining mixture.
- Warm all meatballs together in the air fryer briefly before serving with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave
- To freeze, place meatballs on a parchment-lined sheet, freeze, then transfer to a ziplock bag and keep frozen for up to 3 months
- Air fry frozen meatballs for about 12 minutes until fully cooked
