Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 Tablespoons shawarma spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 6 pieces Naan bread for serving
  • Optional Toppings: tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit before cooking.
  2. Cut the chicken and vegetables as directed then combine them with garlic, olive oil, shawarma spice, salt, and black pepper in the air fryer basket or a large bowl.
  3. Cook the mixture in the air fryer for about 16 to 18 minutes until the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the vegetables are tender.
  4. Serve the cooked chicken and vegetables on naan bread and add your choice of optional toppings like tomatoes, lettuce, and parsley.
