- 3 pounds bone-in chicken thighs and drumsticks
- 1 ½ cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Heat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit before starting.
- Mix the buttermilk and eggs thoroughly in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper well.
- Coat each chicken piece first with flour, then dip in the buttermilk mixture, and roll again in flour to cover completely. Place the coated pieces on a baking sheet.
- Spray all sides of the chicken with olive oil spray ensuring full coverage.
- Arrange 4-5 pieces on the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, flip the chicken carefully, then continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

- Make your own buttermilk by placing a tablespoon of white vinegar in a cup of milk and let sit for 5-10 minutes
- Reheat fried chicken in a preheated air fryer at 370 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes
