Description

This Air Fryer Lemon Herb Chicken Breast Spring is packed with fresh flavors and cooks quickly, making it an easy dinner choice. Perfect for weeknight dinner or family dinner, it’s a delicious air fryer chicken recipe with lemon herb chicken taste.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts medium
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the bowl and turn them over to fully coat in the marinade. Let them sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Warm up the air fryer for 5 minutes before placing the chicken inside.
  4. Cook chicken for 10 minutes at 380 degrees F 190 C, then flip and continue cooking for another 4 to 10 minutes until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • The cook time will depend on the size and thickness of the chicken breast
  • Smaller chicken breasts may be done in 14 minutes total, while larger may take 18-20 minutes
  • I highly recommend a meat thermometer to check when the internal temperature measures 165 degrees F
  • This recipe is easy to double if you have more chicken breasts
  • I will frequently do 4 at a time, especially if the chicken breasts are small or medium size
