  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce tamari for gluten free
  • 34 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¾ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ c mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • ½1 Tbsp sriracha vary to desired spice level
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  2. Whisk together all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl until fully combined.
  3. Coat the salmon pieces in the marinade and let them sit for up to 30 minutes, but no longer to prevent mushiness.
  4. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer inside the air fryer basket; you can do multiple batches if necessary.
  5. Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook the salmon for 7 to 10 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through if you like.
  6. While cooking, mix together the bang bang sauce ingredients and adjust the spiciness to your preference.
  7. Let the salmon rest for 3 to 5 minutes when done, then serve with a generous drizzle of the bang bang sauce.

Notes

  • Store leftover salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days

  • Reheat salmon briefly in the air fryer
  • You can freeze salmon bites wrapped in foil inside a freezer bag for up to 3 months
