Description

Air Fryer Salmon Patties Lemon Dill deliver a crispy and flavorful meal perfect for an easy dinner. This quick weeknight dinner uses canned salmon and fresh dill for a bright taste the whole family will enjoy. Try this family dinner recipe with canned salmon air fryer cooking today.


Ingredients

  • 15 oz canned Wild Alaskan salmon
  • 4 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 cup gluten-free panko breadcrumbs you can also use regular panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Vidalia onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • paprika to taste
  • 8 oz plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain the salmon and put it in a medium bowl making sure no bones remain.
  2. Mix together the salmon with eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and scoop the mixture with a 1/2 cup measure, packing it firmly; shape into six patties then sprinkle each with paprika and spray tops with olive oil.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray and preheat to 400 degrees F.
  5. Carefully transfer patties into the air fryer basket without overlapping; cook for 7-8 minutes until golden and lightly crisp, do in batches if necessary.
  6. While patties cook, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and dijon mustard in a small bowl.
  7. Serve the salmon patties warm with the lemon dill yogurt sauce on the side.
